  Hiked this with a friend. It was an unusually gorgeous day in January. The hike was fairly mild until you approach the dam. It begins to decline a bit, which you don't notice until you start walking back to the trail and then you definitely feel the incline.
  
  The trail offers you a view of the Forrest Hill Bridge as you walk along a stream. It ends at the dam, which gives off a rainbow as it cascades below. I will hopefully come back to this area to hike some more.
  
  Finding a parking spot can be slightly difficult on a weekend, and don't forget to pay!

  One of the better family trails around Sacramento auborn area. Loved the site of trail which goes from ForestHill bridge to Clementine dam. The trek is easy, kids and pet friendly. You can hike near sides of north fork American river walking below the bridge. Just carefull with bikers.
